Flower power candles made with Nutella® jars
Looking for an idea to decorate your home creatively? With LED lights and a little inspiration you can create a unique atmosphere with these floral themed candle holders. All you need is an empty jar of Nutella® to use as a lantern, a LED candle and lots of colourful flowers.
WHAT IS NEEDED

1 empty Nutella® jar

Leaves or flowers
-
Flower press or books
-
Decoupage glue
-
Brush
-
LED tealight
-
Sand
METHOD

STEP 1Press the flowers or leaves in the flower press until they are completely dry. This may take a few days.
Alternatively you can use books to press them. -
STEP 2
Apply the decoupage glue sparingly to the points on the outside of the jar where you are going to position the flowers. Use the size of your flowers as a guide.

STEP 3
Position each flower in turn onto the jar and carefully brush with the decoupage glue.
Tip: When brushing the glue on, work from the inside outwards, to prevent creases and wrinkles in your flowers. -
STEP 4
Cover the bottom of the jar with sand and then place the tealight inside. Your flower power candle holder is finished!
