Easy Holiday French Toast Bake with Nutella®

You don’t need an alarm clock to wake the family up when you have the scent of French toast wafting through the air. Topped with NUTELLA® hazelnut spread—your family will think Santa dropped it off, but that’s your little secret.
INGREDIENTS for 8 servings

1/2 cup butter, softened

3 eggs, beaten

1 1/2 cups milk

1 tbsp vanilla

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

1 loaf baguette cut into 16 slices

8 tbsp Nutella® hazelnut spread, 1 tbsp per serving
METHOD

STEP 1
Pre-heat oven to 350° F. Spread softened butter over the bottom of a 9” × 13” baking dish.
Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and salt together in a bowl; pour into a shallow dish.
Soak both sides of baguette slices in egg mixture until saturated.
Arrange bread slices onto baking dish in a single layer.

Bake until French toast begins to firm (25 minutes). Serve with Nutella® hazelnut spread along with a glass of milk and a side of fruit.
