Make a hanging planter with an empty Nutella® jar

WHAT IS NEEDED

Macramé cord or rope, approx. 10 m

Measuring tape
-
1 hook
-
Adhesive tape
-
Scissors
METHOD

STEP 1
Cut the cord into 8 equal lengths (approx. 1.20 m) and tie them together at the ends.

STEP 2
Fix the cord to the table using the adhesive tape, and tie the lengths into pairs.

STEP 3
Tie a knot in each pair, approximately 5 cm from the main knot. Repeat for all pairs.

STEP 4
Bring the adjacent lengths of the pair together and tie them at a distance of approximately 5 cm. Repeat this step for all pairs.

STEP 5
Bring the adjacent lengths of each pair together and tie them at a distance of approximately 5 cm, for the last time. Repeat this step for all pairs.

STEP 6
Position the plant on the main knot, and bring all the lengths of cord together. Make sure that the plant pot is standing up straight. Fold the upper cords in the middle and attach the hook or ring. Now tie the ends into one big knot.

STEP 7
Trim the ends and hang the planter securely from the hook.
