Looking for a DIY idea to decorate the walls of your home with a unique style? Forget about ordinary posters and create a flower garden using empty Nutella® jars to decorate the walls of your home in a super original way.
WHAT IS NEEDED
-
1 empty Nutella® jar
-
Wooden board (33-35 cm high, 18 cm wide)
-
Wood paint
-
Paper to cover work surface
-
Brush
-
1 hook
-
2 wall mounts
-
Hammer
-
2 screws for the hooks
-
Screwdriver
-
50 cm wire
-
Pliers
-
2 nails for wall mounting
-
Spring flowers
METHOD
-
STEP 1
Paint the wooden board in a colour of your choice and leave to dry thoroughly.
-
STEP 2
Use the hammer to fix two Wall mounts to the back of the board.
-
STEP 3
Screw the hook into the middle of the board. Leave about 4 cm from the top of the board. Mark the centre of the board and screw the hook 4 cm from the top edge.
-
STEP 4
Cut two pieces of wire of equal length (approx. 25 cm). Shape one piece of wire into a handle, and fix it to the other piece.
-
STEP 5
Attach the handle to the neck of the jar, and twist into place. Make sure that the wire is closely bound to the edge of the jar and fixed securely so the jar won’t slip.
-
STEP 6
Hang your jar onto the hook and mount your wall garden onto nails on the wall. Fill with spring flowers. All done!
