Halloween Cookies with Nutella®
INGREDIENTS FOR 12 COOKIES (2 COOKIES PER SERVING)

100g soft butter

150g sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

250g pastry flour
-
3 tbsp wheat flour (for flouring the worktop)

180g Nutella® (15g/ one heaped teaspoon per serving)
To prepare this delicious recipe, 15g of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!
Preparation:

Prepare the Dough
In a large bowl, mix the butter and sugar together until creamy and smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well. Gradually add the flour and work it into a dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave it to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes. -
Process the Dough
Spread some flour on the work surface. Place the dough on top and roll out to approx. 5 mm thickness. Cut out the cookies with a round cutter and use a knife to cut the circle into two ghost-shaped halves. Roll out the dough again and continue the process until it is all used up. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Use a knife or cutter to cut eyes and a mouth into half of the cookies. -
Bake the Cookies
Preheat the oven to 200°C (conventional) or 180°C (fan oven). Bake the Halloween cookies for approx. 10 minutes. Leave the cookies to cool completely on the tray. -
Assemble
Turn half of the cooled cookies over and spread 7g of Nutella® on each cookie. Place the remaining cookies with the cut-outs on top and press down lightly.
