Christmas Gluten-Free Orange Cake by Nutella®
INGREDIENTS FOR 10 SERVINGS

4 fresh oranges

110g orange juice

60g sunflower oil

110g gluten-free flour

8 eggs

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/3 tsp. fine salt

150g fine sugar

150g Nutella - 1 heaped tsp. of Nutella® (15g) per portion
HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS GLUTEN-FREE ORANGE CAKE

Preheat the oven to 150°C. Separate seven eggs into two bowls, leaving one egg to the side. In one bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff, then add in the baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix again until stiff, then place it in the fridge to rest and keep the texture consistent.

Add the whole egg into the bowl containing the egg yolks. Grate the orange zest, add to the bowl, then add the juice and oil. Whisk until smooth. Sift in the flour and whisk again.

Take the egg white mix out of the fridge and gradually add it to the yolk mixture. Gently fold it in with your spatula.

Pour the mixture into a cake tin and bake for 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Once baked and cooled, cut the cake in half and spread 75g of Nutella® onto the bottom half.

Place on the top layer and decorate the top of the cake with the remaining Nutella®. Add some fresh orange pieces for an extra flavour kick. Enjoy!
