Christmas Mini Puff Pastry Tree by Nutella®

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 SERVINGS

  • 1 pack / 275g puff pastry

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 2 tbsp. milk

  • 60g Nutella - 1 heaped tsp. of Nutella® (15g) per puff pastry tree

  • Pomegranate seeds for decoration (optional)

HOW TO MAKE A CHRISTMAS MINI PUFF PASTRY TREE

  1. step-1

    Preheat the oven to 190°C. Roll out the ready-made puff pastry on a piece of baking paper. Cut it with a small and a larger tree-shaped cookie cutter.

  2. step-2

    Mix together the egg yolk and milk until completely combined, then brush the mixture onto the top of the trees.

  3. step-3

    Bake the Christmas trees for about 12-15 minutes, then let them cool down to room temperature. Once cooled, spread the majority of the delicious Nutella® onto half of the Christmas trees.

  4. step-4

    Now stack the Christmas trees, sandwiching the Nutella® between them. Decorate with the remaining Nutella® and pomegranate seeds and enjoy!
