Holiday Gluten-Free Orange Cake with Nutella®
INGREDIENTS FOR 10 SERVINGS

4 fresh oranges

1/2 cup orange juice

1/4 cup sunflower oil

1 cup gluten-free flour

8 eggs

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. fine salt

1 1/2 cups fine sugar

1 tbsp. of Nutella® per serving
How to make Nutella® Gluten-Free Orange Cake

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Separate seven eggs into two bowls, one with egg whites and one with egg yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then add in baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix again until stiff, then place it in the fridge to rest and keep the texture consistent.

Add the last whole egg into the bowl containing the egg yolks. Grate the orange zest, add to the bowl, then add the juice and oil. Whisk until smooth. Sift in the flour and whisk again.

Take the egg white mix out of the fridge and gradually add it to the yolk mixture. Gently fold it in with your spatula.

Pour the mixture into a cake tin and bake for 1 hour and 50 minutes. Place an oven-safe bowl filled with water into the oven during the baking process.

Once baked and cooled, cut the cake in half and spread Nutella® on the bottom half.

Place on the top layer and decorate the top of the cake with Nutella®. Add some fresh orange pieces for an extra kick of flavor. Enjoy!
