Rice Pudding with Nutella®

INGREDIENTS for 2 persons

  • 50g Egyptian rice (1/4 cup)

  • 250 ml water (1 cup)

  • 250 ml low fat milk (1 cup)

  • 15g sugar (1 tablespoon)

  • 15g corn flour (3 teaspoon)

  • 30g Nutella®

For decoration:
  • chopped hazelnuts or 2 fresh strawberries

To prepare this delicious recipe, 15g of Nutella® per person is enough to enjoy!

METHOD

  1. Combine rice and water in a small pot. Bring to the boil and leave to simmer on very low heat until water is absorbed and rice is cooked through. If the rice is still a little firm, add another 1/4 cup of warm water and leave to simmer for longer.

  2. Mix the cold milk with sugar and corn flour in a small container until corn flour and sugar are dissolved then add to the cooked rice.

  3. Keep stirring on very low heat until the milk and the rice thicken together and create thick creamy rice pudding consistency.

  4. Carefully divide the rice pudding quantity between 2 small cups and leave to cool for 10 minutes.

  5. Add 15g Nutella® on the top of each cup

  6. Garnish with hazelnuts or fresh strawberry halves and serve warm.
