PREPARATION
-
Wash and cook the chana dal along with salt and turmeric in the pressure cooker until one whistle then drain the excess water and grind along with jaggery in a blender
-
Cook the paste on medium heat on a pan until a thick paste is formed then add the elaichi powder and nutmeg and divide into 8 equal portions.
-
Mix all the ingredients for the dough and knead until nice and soft. Rest the dough for an hour then take a small portion of the dough and make a smooth ball
-
Form a cup by pressing the dough from the sides and stuff it with the puran and seal the dough without any cracks. Dust the ball with some whole wheat flour& flatten it.
-
Now roll gently without putting much pressure and roll as thin as possible and make sure the puran is distributed evenly.
-
Cook the puran poli on tawa keeping the flame on medium and rub some ghee on both sides. Spread Nutella® 15g per portion with some banana slices. Roll and Enjoy.
